Wedding Story 2.0 : Cocktail

Hi lovelies ,

How'd you find the last post ? Did you like the last post ?

Here is another post as I promised , from the Wedding Story look book , featuring this velvety soft silver color , over sized coat and a classy royal blue dress . It was too made by my college senior , she has amazing designs and creativity .

You can probably wear this dress for a cocktail party , I had this fantasy long time back wearing something bluey , and this dress .. Goshhhhhh . Its PERFECT !

It paired a silver metal chain - type thick necklace with dress and silver heels with this dress and trust me , it was my sheer luck that I own a pair of silver heels and they looked completely alluring and matched impeccably with this dress .

It can we be well suitable for the occasion , and its completely upto you how well you can stylize this dress well , with this coat or even without it . You can probably wear a silver watch or silver handcuff , silver rings and even a sparkly clutch in your hand , that would complete the look !

The makeup again is very minimal here , you can see that in the pictures , you can probably wear a red color lipstick depending upon the occasion .

Wedding Story 1.0 : Engagement

How have you guys been ?

As you all know its the wedding season , and so I had this urge lately to do something related to the weddings , and finally I got the opportunity , all thanks to my senior from college that I got to wear her designs , she is an amazing designer .

In this look , its all about what you can probably wear for an Engagement , the color combination is superb and so is the unique design of this lehnga , it has pleats in the back and has a goldenish and grey shimmery cloth , which looks really dazzling and a net duppata with a golden border on it .

The design is very well stitched as you can see in the pictures too , the design suits well . Plus it is very easy to carry as it is not heavy at all !

I wore very minimal jewellery and accessorized big golden earrings with it and silver bangles , to give it a classy and neat look , don't over accessorize it , and wear too many things and I even did very minimum make up , wearing only mascara , golden and black eyeliner little it of blush on and light pink lipstick .

Flutter and Flow !

Hello my lovelies !

First of all , I really wanna apologize for not being updating the blog for quite sometime , some of you might be thinking that I have left blogging and all those reasons , and the answer to that is a big NO .
I had certain reasons , because of which I was inactive for a long time , but now I won't disappoint you and will be updating the blog on a regular basis .

So , coming back to the blog , I chose this high low cape from Missa More , I have been waiting to have a shoot in something ethnic since a long time , and finally I did and that too in a Missa More piece .
I am totally and completely in love with Missa More , it has all kinds of long tops , maxis , dresses and they even have a plus store too , and its range is quite reasonable .
Since , its wedding season and so is the feel , something ethnic , something Indian and something royal , so I presented it in a complete Indian way .

It can be styled with a patiala salwar , or with plazozs or even with dhoti pants or jeggings too , depends upon what is the occasion and how you wanna style it .
I styled it with leggings and big golden earrings , to give it an ethnic look !

High on slits

Hey there !

Finally my first blog . I am really very excited and its really hard to control this excitement and I am having mixed emotions :D ( I really can't tell you what I feel like at this moment ) .
This post was scheduled to be posted a week back but due to some reasons , I couldn't post it , but I am sure the wait will be worth it , and as they say patience is virtue , isn't it ?

What i personally feel is you should be confident in what you wear and should carry yourself very neatly to give a lasting impression in people's mind .
And as my mom says , first impression is the last impression and we all at some point , whenever we meet a person for the first time , we do judge them on the basis of their clothes and appearance , don't we ?

So coming back to the blog , black is actually my favorite color and black has a property , it makes you look thin ( I obviously don't need to look more thin though :P ) , but as they say ' Black is the new Pink ' .
I've been raging over slit maxis for quite sometime and as they have become a trend .
That's why I chose this to be my first post up on the blog !

I teamed up this slit maxi top with denim shorts , but you can pair them up with black jeggings or even with ripped jeans and you can wear flat sandals or even shoes with them too .
This look altogether turned out to be real classy .

So , this is it for my first blog . This is my first attempt at blogging and I would love to know your feedback ! Till then keeping waiting and loving ;) Until next time ..

Hi people !

Finally I am starting my blog , " The Runway Chick " , I took up this name as my blog's name because when someone instantly hears this name , the first thing that pop up into their head is about fashion world . And me as a designing student can very well relate to it . I am actually nervous about starting a blog , but my friends and my cousins encouraged me to do so .

So here I am :D I will be blogging mostly about Fashion , Food , Lifestyle and how to style keeping in mind about the latest trends .
