Currently Obsessing : Blue Off - Shoulder Gown

Hola lovely people,

How have you been? How are you vacations going? I'm feeling too lazy at home, getting pampered by my mom. I've been doing nothing as such just eating home cooked delicious food made by my mom and roaming around with my friends, having fun and meeting some of my friends after years or sitting in my pyjamas all day watching TV. So what's up with you all?

Andddd.. I've some great news for you guys. I recently collaborated with Flyrobe, and I am part of their Flyrobe Style Crew and I styled five looks out of which this is one of the looks I styled and this is my most favorite amongst all.

When it's blazing hot outside, the last thing you want to be feeling is constrained by your clothes. So to stay cool, I've been taking advantage of hot weather trends and one of such trend I've been currently obsessing and diving into this summer is the flowy off - the - shoulder. Off - the - shoulder tops, dresses and gowns allow you to show a little skin without looking too risque. I'd  say the perfect combination of sweet, sexy and classy.

This blue gown does something when you put it on. It gives you confidence and comfort. I love the vibrant color, and the fact that it is an off - shoulder gown. I have lately been fascinated by off - shoulder tops, gowns or dresses, be it anything and they are very much in trend these days. Mixed with a black strappy heels that i recently got from Street Style Store. Kept the jewellery simple, and just paired a silver swarovski necklace from my mom's closet and a blue swarovski ring that I got her as a gift for Mother's Day and borrowed from her for a day ;D

I felt like Cinderella in this gown. It's so cool having females confident enough to bare their neckline. To me this gown is the gown that is the best of both worlds. It's perfect for an afternoon party or even for a evening party too but also 'that dress' that you can pack and wear on any vacation.

So I'll be posting the other looks too very soon, till then have a look at the pictures below and feel free to tell me how do you like this look and what do you think about the off - the - shoulder trend? So, this is it for the post. Till then stay tuned !

Design your own Gown

Hola guys,

I guess you all were waiting for my new blog post, but I wan't able to post lately because my end semester exams were going on and now, I came back home for two months *_*

So, here is my new blog post featuring this Indo - Western gown, lately as many of you have noticed on my Instagram handle, I have been posting some pictures, they have been designed by a college senior of mine. She made it while working on a internship in her last semester under a very re-owned brand.

Talking about this blog post, this gown as you can see, is a Indo - Western gown, particularly was a two piece clothing, the jacket wasn't attached to this gown, it can be worn as a separate piece too. The embroidery on this jacket was hand done, plus I love this peach color.

As for the makeup and hair, I left my hair loose and little ruffled, my hairs look a little messy as I had just washed my hair :P But this worked out quite well for me, as it looked good with this gown. And for the make up this red lipstick too worked quite well.

Have a look at the pictures below and let me know how do you like this post. So this it for this post, more blog posts coming soon. Till then stay tuned !

Keep loving and waiting .. Until next time !

Much Love,

Shreya

Vacations Ready

Hi guys !

Hope you guys had an amazing weekend. Mine was pretty hectic as my final exams are nearing up, so the preparations are on full swing and hence, I decided to stay at home and work. But none the less, I still managed to shoot for this post with this gorgeous fellow blogger friend of mine Kshitija Adsul for this post and we both had so much fun teaming up for this fun post.

So, we both wanted to do something different and hence, we came up with the ideas of wearing these pretty yet different dresses. Both the dresses looked so ravishing and we both couldn't help but choosing them. In this look, we both are prepped up for holidays, which are coming soon by the way. So, have a look at the pictures below.

DETAILS :

My Outfit
Dress :
 Preetylicious World
Neck piece : Globus

Kshitija's Outfit
Dress :

Ring : Colaba
Neck piece : Own

Have a look at the pictures below to see how I styled my outfit. I styled this neon green/yellow dress with nude platform heels from Stelatoes. Nude strap heels are a must in every girls closet, they match up with any outfit well. I am wearing Face's London's brown lip shade for this look. Lately, my profound love for brown lip shades is growing day by day. Plus , orange or pink lip shade might look good with this one.

So, this is it for this post, stay tuned for more interesting posts like this !

Keep loving and waiting .. Until next time !

Much Love

That Black Skater Dress

Holaaaa ,

I can't begin to explain you how much time I've spent on internet websites lately finding stuff as of lately . It's kindda pathetic and embarrassing , but that's what I love the most and basically what I am good at , except the fact that soon I'm gonna be a designer . What's worse is I've yet to purchase a single item from the new season of beautiful clothing . But the search is still on ..

Lately , I've seen a number of horribly styled skater dresses and tunics alike and wanted to do a post on " how to properly wear a skater dress " in the hopes of saving at least one person from the proverbial fashion police . My main piece of advice would be to remember your skater dress is a layering piece - meaning that it's not appropriate to simply toss it on and run out of the door with your bare arms and bare legs . Possibly in the summer if you have a super sweat body and pair it with adorable shoes - but most definitely not in the spring .

Anyways , the other day I managed to leave the scrubs at home and I decided to go for a ' girly ' look with this black mini skater dress that I recently purchased from Forever 21 . So , to give it up a little twist , I styled this look in two ways .

LOOK 1 : Rustic Look

My suggestion for this look as you can see in the pictures . The black skater dress was paired with a pair of brown high boots and a blue floral - print slit cape . This adds to the " cow-boyish / rustic " feel and also feminizes the outfit a bit . Paired with only a silver work based blue ring and a black choker with multi - layered neck pieces and a pair of sunglasses to bare the heat .

Black Skater Dress : Forever 21
Blue Floral Cape : Missa More
Brown Boots : Wings , Karol Bagh
Blue Ring : Local
Black Choker : Style Silhouette
Pink Bow Neck piece : Style Silhouette
Two - layered Silver Neck piece : Fashion Police India
Sunglasses : Local
On my Lips : NYX Soft Matte

LOOK 2 : Indian Look

My suggestion for this look as you can see in the pictures . In this look , the black skater dress was paired with a Indian short jacket , it is as you are thinking is very similar to the ones we get in Rajasthan . The typical jootis , bangles , a pair of small earrings and a big goldenish - white ring and a pair of round - vintage style reflectors . This look turned out to be a very colorful look overall and was my ' personal favorite ' , when compared between these two looks .

DETAILS :
Black Skater Dress : Forever 21
Rajasthani Jacket : Kamla Nagar
Jootis : Local
Bangles : Juvalia
White Ring : Trade Fair
Little Green Earrings : Trade Fair
Reflectors : Ray Ban
On my Lips : L'Oreal Colour Riche

All in all , this is how I would style a skater dress . If you disagree , feel free to do as you please . Or even if you like any of the above look , just feel free to comment . Just know that I'm putting a cardigan on you with my mind , LOL , just kidding :P

So , this is it for this post , more interesting posts coming up very soon . So stay tuned !

Keep loving and waiting .. Until next time !

Much Love

Summer Ready

"Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful . "

~ Sophia Loren

Hola lovies  ,
How you doing ? This blog post is all about summers .. The summer ready ; boho , girly , funky , biker chick type looks !

This time I came up with post with three looks , as I had mentioned before too I'll be coming up with many interesting posts now , so here is one .

The garments were made  by a college senior of mine and the main emphasis is on the Fringe Jacket in the first look ; the Brown Leather Double Slit Skirt in the second look ; and the Blue Floral Printed Co-Ord Set in the third look .

This post basically has three looks . Have a look at the pictures below ..

LOOK 1 : Fringe Jacket

In this look a black colored leather fringe jacket is paired with red dress from Forever 21 and reddish brown boots . The makeup was kept quite heavy this time , as you can see in the pictures too , heavy eye - makeup with long silver earrings and funky silver rings  in each finger of left hand and the hair were left loose .

LOOK 2 : Brown Leather Double Slit Skirt

This look basically has a brown leather double slit skirt paired with black crop top from Forever 21 and black heels . Again in this look too , the makeup was quite heavy to give it a fashionista kindda look , with a  golden earcuff and a golden bracelet and the hair tied in a side pony .

LOOK 3 : The Blue Floral Print Co-Ord Set

In this look , its all and all about being a chick ,, about posing randomly ,the perfect look created for summerssss .. This is a blue floral printed co-ord set with a side slit and a matching hairband too . A pair of orange sunglasses , that perfectly matches with the dress and orange wedges . The makeup applied in this look was only a orange lipstick with blue eye shadow and my hair were tied in a bun for this one .

So , this is it for this post , I'll be coming up with more interesting posts this month , so stay tuned .. And let me know which one from these three looks is your favorite ?

Keep loving and waiting .. Until next time !

Much Love ,

Shreya

Lakme Fashion Week Ready with Flyrobe

Hi lovelies !

How have you all been doing ? So , finally April is here . SUMMERSSSSS *_* I am summer ready , Are you ? I personally prefer summers more than any other season ! And I am lucky enough in that case , because here in Mumbai , its summer all year :D

So , coming back to the blog post , as you all are aware about the ongoing LAKME FASHION WEEK , SPRING - SUMMER COLLECTION , in Mumbai , which unfortunately I won't be able to attend due to some reasons , so I tried creating a look for the same with Flyrobe .

Its actually a fashion fever over there , so I tried styling a look with this dark yellow slit halter - neck gown , which has some red patches of embroidery on the neck area . Plus , this gown gives a stunning Indo - western touch which enhances the overall look of this piece .

I styled this gown , with golden flat sandals , and a golden metallic cuff from Juvalia with a big red and golden ring and maroon lipstick from Revlon ! You can alternatively try this gown with red or maroon stilettos , but don't wear a neck piece because it'll spoil the patch work on the neck and will give a very gaudy look . You can probably carry a sling or a golden clutch too with this pretty gown .

So , this is it for this post , have a look at the pictures below and let me know how you liked this look . And I'm gonna be coming up with many interesting posts , so stay tuned !

Keep loving and waiting .. Until next time !

Much Love ,

Shreya
